Job Role / Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic support and managed service team working with multi-vendor environments. The team is the first point of contact and offers remote technical security support and managed security services for a large customer base.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be encouraged to work independently, and be an integrated part of a dynamic team. This role requires proven practical experience with Fortinet and to:

1. Manage daily operational tasks with minimal supervision.
2. Provide technical security support, advice, and further analysis on the provider's products and technologies below for the customer's infrastructure security needs.
3. Provide detailed and correct guidance on the use of customer products to support our customer base.
4. Interact effectively with other team members to offer security solutions to technical problems.
5. Act as a trusted advisor for some of our major clients and as an expert for Fortinet.
6. Manage incidents with regular updates to customers in a fast and effective manner.
7. Lead problem management by identifying trends in product defects and recurring incidents.
8. Be responsible for the supervision and delivery of complex changes for the network of managed service customers.
9. Technical escalations for network security engineers who help remotely and visit the site to solve problems if needed.
10. Support project onboarding.
11. Follow Integrity360's internal systems and procedures.
12. Participate in on-call rotation and provide support to customers and colleagues 24x7.
13. Participate in Service Review meetings and present performance reports focusing on long-term performance and adding value.

Qualifications

• Fortinet expert with strong knowledge of network infrastructure security for firewalls, routers, switches, and related network protocols and concepts required.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a network security engineer with primary experience in Fortinet and complementary experience in Checkpoint and F5.
• Industry certification is advantageous in one or more of the following:
• Fortinet NSE 4-8
• Checkpoint CCSE
• Checkpoint CCSM
• A degree in computer science or a related discipline is desirable but not a requirement, and candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a corresponding role will be given equal consideration.

Desired Skills

Ideally, the candidate will have knowledge/experience in the following areas, with a desire to grow, learn, and develop with the company:

• Detailed knowledge of network security.
• Proven practical experience with Fortinet security technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Experience with firewall products from other vendors: Checkpoint, F5.
• Experience with UTM/Sandboxing/App Control in CheckPoint, FortiGate.
• Routing/Switching/Dynamic routing protocols (OSPF and BGP) – Cisco.
• Content Delivery Systems – F5 LTM, GTM, Citrix Netscaler.
• Multifactor Authentication – RSA AM.
• Web Application Firewall – F5 ASM.
• IPSEC/SSL VPN: Ivanti Pulse Secure, F5 APM, CheckPoint, FortiGate, Netscaler Gateway.
• Virtualization – IaaS on AWS, Azure.
• Shell scripting or development experience (bash, python, etc.).
