Senior Software Development Engineer In Test (Sdet)
Intapp is looking for an enthusiastic individual for the position of Senior Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET). This is a technical leadership position, and this person will make a real impact on the business by helping grow our test automation team and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality software and engineering principles with strong analytic, problem solving and programming skills. This person brings a software engineer mindset to this role by using best practices and appropriate design patterns to build solutions for our test automation tools, frameworks, and automated tests.

What You Will Do:
- Collaborate across functions with product managers, software architects, developers, and manual testers, contributing to release planning and software design.
- Have technical responsibility for the automation testing strategy and the creation, design, and development of test automation frameworks.
- Create test strategies, formulating and automating test case scenarios.
- Teach, coach, mentor others in automated testing best practices.
- Create and develop tooling to assist manual and automated testing.
- Build and run tests as part of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Create test automation dashboards, reporting on metrics to drive release quality and continuous improvements.
What You Will Need:
- Proven experience in test automation, test tooling, and infrastructure for test automation (typically 8+ years).
- Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in at least one common programming language (C#, Java or .NET) and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
- Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including their application in building and testing robust, high-quality software.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
- An understanding of Microsoft Azure & Amazon Web Services is a plus.
- An ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English.
