Job Title
This position is responsible for planning, implementing and providing extensive library related and technical information services to the CCR-P technical staff, administration and management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages unclassified library resources, services and budget for CCR-P.
- Manages CCR-P, CCR-L, and CCS combined electronic resources budget, in coordination with the CCRL and CCS Library management.
- Manages classified resources and services including:
- Control of hardcopy documents and removable media including annual inventories,
- Electronic content - reports, videos, and data,
- Database content - metadata for reports, videos, and magnetic media,
- Web interfaces - internal and community facing.
- Manages CCR-P classified report publishing of CCR-P, CCS and CCR-L via the maintenance of software based on database content and meta data files to:
- CCR only website,
- Sponsor, CCR, and CCS website,
- Second party website
- Reviews requests for releasing CCR videos to sponsor and second party websites.
- Reviews requests for CCR newsgroup access by sponsor and second party researchers.
- Reviews requests for scans to the classified network.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- MS in Library or Information Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in automated library environment including supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrable competence of relational database design, implementation and maintenance.
- A working knowledge of general scripting language and integration of that scripting language with relational databases.
- The ability to acquire new technology skills and resolve problems in a resourceful and timely manner.
- Demonstrate capacity to work effectively and professionally with computer, support, and research levels of personnel.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Unix operating system commands and utilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
- Preferred experience:
- PostgreSQL programming
- Linux operating systems
- Perl or Python scripting language
- LaTex and Bibtex programming

While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $118,000 - $190,000. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent's experience, unique skills and qualifications and other relevant factors.
