A client of Insight Global is seeking two Workday Integration Engineers to join their team and help lead the integration of Workday with a proprietary internal system. This role involves working closely with another Software Engineer in a cross-functional environment to architect and implement a seamless connection between platforms. The position is divided into two phases: research and evaluation, followed by development and rollout. During the initial phase, you will be responsible for designing the system architecture and producing a Technical Product Review (TPR) document, which includes a context diagram, container diagram, and a system architecture overview. This is a greenfield development effort, requiring a creative, solutions-oriented mindset and a strong grasp of design patterns. In the development and rollout phase, you will focus on integrating Workday Cloud Connect for Learning (CCL) APIs, implementing boilerplate code, automating retries and error handling, and syncing the scheduling system to ensure data integrity, uptime, and scalability. Experience with Workdays CCL APIs is essential, and a background in education, e-learning, or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is highly desirable. The platform will host both self-managed content and Workday-hosted materials, so a deep understanding of Workday is critical for success in this role.
