Sr. Platform Engineer

An employer in the insurance industry is looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer to join the platform engineering team. This engineer will play a critical role in building and maintaining the underlying platform that supports application development, deployment, and operations across the organization. They will be responsible for designing and scaling internal developer platforms and tooling to improve engineering velocity and consistency. The Platform Engineer will collaborate closely with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to establish best practices around infrastructure, observability, and deployment. They will leverage Azure-native services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tooling to create reliable, secure, and scalable environments. The role includes both greenfield and brownfield platform initiatives.
