Backend Software Development Engineer
We're seeking a backend focused Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable services on Azure—delivering robust APIs, Azure Functions, and data driven integrations that power SaaS products, R&D initiatives, and AI capabilities. You'll develop primarily in Python and C#/.NET, implement reliable web APIs, and apply LLM prompt engineering (including crafting complex prompts) to integrate with tools like Roboflow and modern AI services. You will own service quality end to end—instrumenting telemetry and monitoring, automating delivery with Azure DevOps, and working in VS Code within Agile, iterative workflows. Partnering closely with full time engineers and product, you'll communicate clearly in English, provide crisp status and problem descriptions, and proactively troubleshoot to unblock others—raising the bar beyond "just the ticket" delivery. Front end experience with React and TypeScript is a plus for full stack collaboration; above all, you'll influence engineering best practices, reliability, and velocity across a modern Azure-based stack. Pay Rate- $30-40/hr.
