Remote Mechanical Design Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team of one of their top customers. The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the design and analysis of Hot Gas Path and Rotor components for Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and Aeroderivative engines. This role works closely with cross functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure designs meet product requirements and design practice. The engineer will contribute to component optimization efforts with a focus on cost, manufacturability, and design robustness.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mechanical design and analysis of Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative gas turbine components.
• Analysis focus will include evaluation of hot gas path and rotor components.
• Execute the design or evaluation of assigned hardware using sound engineering practices and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Participate and present in formal and informal technical reviews for all design tasks.
