INTL AI Engineer - AOR

AI/ML Engineer

In this role, you will work on cutting-edge AI/ML initiatives within a large healthcare/pharmaceutical enterprise, focusing on building agentic AI workflows and end-to-end Generative AI capabilities in a Google Cloud (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE) environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Design and Develop AI Solutions
  • Build agentic AI workflows and solutions leveraging LLMs and advanced GenAI techniques.
  • Design and implement AI-driven microservices that integrate seamlessly into enterprise systems.
  • Develop NLP pipelines for healthcare-related use cases.
• Backend Engineering
  • Develop and maintain backend microservices using Python, Java, and Spring Boot.
  • Build and integrate APIs (GraphQL and REST) for scalable service communication.
• Cloud and Infrastructure
  • Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GKE).
  • Work with Google Cloud Spanner (Postgres dialect) and messaging tools like Confluent Kafka (or similar).
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
• ML Integration and Operations
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and MLOps teams to integrate ML models into production workflows.
  • Enable continuous learning and model retraining workflows using Vertex AI or Kubeflow on GCP.
  • Implement observability and reliability for AI decisions by logging predictions, confidence scores, and fallbacks into data lakes or monitoring tools.
• Performance and Scalability
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AI services.
  • Optimize workflows for performance and cost efficiency in a cloud-native environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product teams, data engineers, and compliance stakeholders to align AI solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
