Software Developer

As a Software Developer for Insight Global, you'll be part of a dynamic team of developers, QAs, a product owner, and a customer success person. Your day-to-day tasks will include addressing bugs, implementing enhancements, and developing new features. You'll work on both new development and rewriting existing applications, with a focus on refactoring various modules. A key priority will be reworking the fiscal and training modules, which both require significant redevelopment in both Ruby on Rails and Python. You'll use Jira for ticketing, though prior experience with Jira isn't necessary. Documentation will be maintained in Confluence. This is a full-stack role with an emphasis on backend development (80%) and some frontend work (20%), following a two-week sprint cycle.
