Cybersecurity/ATO Compliance Engineer

A government customer of Insight Global is hiring for a Cybersecurity/ATO Compliance Engineer. The Engineer will support the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process for a Department of Defense (DoD) project. This role involves working closely with project management and the engineering/product teams to ensure compliance with various cybersecurity frameworks and standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and Support ATO Documentation: Manage all ATO documentation and process steps, ensuring compliance with DoD requirements.
• Participate in ATO-Specific Meetings: Attend recurring ATO meetings with the project manager and other stakeholders to discuss progress and address any issues.
• Advise on Compliance Frameworks: Provide expertise on FedRAMP, CDPSC, and other relevant compliance frameworks as needed.
• Drive Documentation and Compliance: Interface with engineering and product teams to drive documentation and compliance efforts, ensuring all security measures are in place.

The pay range for this position is $46-53/hr depending on experience. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extensions. After the first 3 months, workload could drop from 40 hours per week to 20-30 hours per week with the potential to pick back up to 40 after 6 months.
