Civil Engineer - Remote Eligible

Insight Global is seeking a Civil Engineer for a well-established engineering consultant firm located in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and CAD drafting of grading plans, plot plans, street & utility improvement plans, drainage reports, boundary adjustments and certificate of compliance. Under the direction of the owner, the Civil Engineer will review title reports, prepare legal descriptions and plat maps for property boundaries and easements. They will also be responsible for working with the field surveyors to calculate and prepare boundary and topography survey maps from the field, surveying data collected from our land surveyor, and preparing construction staking data sheets and plat maps for construction staking. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and be familiar with regulatory requirements and comfortable delivering high quality work in a remote environment. This role is remote and candidates can sit anywhere BUT the preference is in or near San Diego.
