Information And Communications Technology Systems Designer

Insight Global is looking for a motivated professional to assist in successfully executing exciting commercial projects across the State of Alaska for a client of ours. In this role you will be responsible for designing, estimating, specifying, and implementing Information and Communications Technology systems based in Anchorage, Alaska. This job requires technical knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and practical experience designing, estimating, and quoting jobs.

Job Duties: The ideal applicant will work with the design and engineering team to provide support throughout the process of designing and implementing ICT projects across a wide range of industries and technologies. At times they may be required to aid in the installation and configuration of these projects but they will primarily be responsible for:

• Assessing the costs associated with telecom projects, including equipment, labor, materials, and overhead
• Providing detailed and accurate cost estimates to ensure projects are completed within budget
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Specifying the types and models of hardware to be utilized in various projects ensuring they meet the project requirements and industry standards for optimal performance and reliability.
