Function Description

As a Deployment Engineer, you are responsible for the technical coordination and quality monitoring of locker installations in the field. You ensure that every new location is prepared for a successful and high-quality placement: from setting up work schedules to coordinating with installers and location owners. Specifically, this includes:

• Coordinating the entire machine deployment process for new locker locations
• Drafting and monitoring deployment and work schedules
• Evaluating new locker locations for technical feasibility: power supply, foundation, accessibility, and construction requirements
• Drafting work drawings, location reports, and technical installation specifications
• Taking corrective and repair measures for reported problems; determining the approach to solve complications
• Supervising the quality of placed parcel lockers and additional work (electricity & groundwork)
• Preventing and quickly responding to (potential) quality issues during and after installation
• Supporting the expansion team and training staff from other network departments
• Drafting periodic progress reports on deployments in ongoing projects
• Coordinating with external installation partners, contractors, and utility companies; responsible for good management of inventory management, spare parts, and orders + administration thereof in accordance with financial guidelines.

Function Requirements

You have a technical background and enjoy delivering projects orderly and on time. You combine pragmatism with a keen eye for quality and feel equally at home on the floor as behind your desk.

• MBO+ / HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of construction, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or similar
• Experience as a work preparer, project coordinator, assembly coordinator, or technical advisor. >3 years of demonstrable relevant work experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and technical specifications
• Used to taking corrective measures and practically solving complications
• Driving license B required; willing to work on location regularly
• Good command of Dutch and English. French or Polish is a plus.
