This is a temporary three month assignment position

We are seeking Product Service Support Technician to join our dynamic team! This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the day-to-day care of animals in the assigned facility. Product Service Support Technicians are primarily tasked with preparing, presenting, and maintaining products and services that facilitate animal care and breeding in isolator facility. The person in this role will need to feel passionate about working with animals, enjoy and excel at organization, and support and maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment. We are seeking someone that is hardworking, shows attention to detail, takes initiative, has a teamwork mentality and positive attitude.

As part of this role, the Product Service Support Technician will contribute to the team by:

• Following standard operating procedures for efficient transfer of materials into and out of animal barrier
• Operating all equipment in a safe, efficient and careful manner
• Keeping detailed records on work performed
• Maintaining work area in an organized, clean, and safe condition
• Operating washing and sterilizing equipment
• Receiving and stocking incoming supplies, feed, bedding, etc.
• Maintaining equipment in a neat and orderly manner
• Assembling animal shipping boxes
• Cleaning and sanitizing work area, storage areas, and animal care areas as assigned
• Maintaining records required
• Euthanizing animals as designated
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to communicate (written and verbally) in English

To be successful in this role, this position requires the Product Service Support Technician brings:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Ability to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditions
• Ability to follow detailed procedures
• Skills to accurately record, calculate, and maintain detailed records
• Ability to work as a team member
• English communication - written, reading and oral
