Sell What Brands Stand On

Innovative Environments (IE) designs and delivers exhibits, tradeshow displays, signage, and experiential graphics that help organizations stand out and connect. As an Account Executive, you'll prospect, pitch, and close deals with marketing leaders, design firms, and corporate decision-makers. This is a consultative sales role in a fast-moving industry where your wins are visible on the tradeshow floor.

What You'll Do

Build and manage pipeline

  • Prospect and qualify new accounts; log activity in CRM
  • Represent IE at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
  • Develop strong relationships with corporate marketing teams, event managers, and architects

Drive consultative sales

  • Identify client needs and sell complete exhibit and signage solutions
  • Review drawings, plans, and specs to align solutions with brand and budget
  • Lead bids, RFIs, proposals, and budgets; deliver persuasive presentations
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals while protecting profitability

Ensure project success

  • Partner with project managers, estimators, and fabrication teams for flawless delivery
  • Maintain clear client communication from kickoff through installation
  • Manage invoicing in line with AIA/progressive billing practices
  • Capture referrals and client testimonials to fuel future business

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience (exhibits, tradeshows, signage, or branded environments preferred)
  • Proven ability to hunt, close, and grow accounts
  • Experience selling to marketing, design, and corporate decision-makers
  • Comfort with architectural drawings and project specifications
  • Proficiency with quoting, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills

Preferred

  • Knowledge of exhibit/tradeshow production and signage fabrication
  • Familiarity with AIA billing and progressive invoicing
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
