Senior Electrical Engineer

Ingredion Inc. seeks Senior Electrical Engineer in Bedford Park, IL. Job duties include providing technical leadership in support of maintenance and operation of the site power distribution systems, ensuring continuous improvement in the system reliability. Develop capital projects and implementation of electrical equipment to support plant operations. Provide technical expertise in support of maintenance and operation of site power distribution systems. Manage and coordinate the execution of the annual high-voltage preventative maintenance program. Monitor key performance variables in the electrical distribution system and coordinate tactical countermeasures to address risks to system reliability and safety. Responsible for managing all site electrical contractors ensuring balance between project and maintenance priorities. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Ingredion's office is required 3 days a week.

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering (any field), Electronics, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special skill requirements include circuit design and analysis; high, medium, and low voltage power systems; control systems design and implementation; network analysis; signal processing techniques; electrical CAD software; knowledge of semiconductor devices; embedded systems development; and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Ingredion's office is required 3 days a week.

Salary: $113,027 – $123,500 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
