Monitors programs designed to maintain/improve product quality.

Inspects books at various stages of the production process and compiles audit findings to determine compliance with standards, policies, processes and procedures.

Performs 28 Quality checklist items required on a per shift basis.

Conducts 100% inspections at all phases of the manufacturing process on replacement orders when requested.

Recommends modifications and improvements to systems and procedures.

Assists in the evaluation and resolution of quality, waste and manufacturing issues.

Helps coordinate ongoing quality improvements within LSI's manufacturing process.

Provides recommendations to QS Training Specialists on training needs.

Assists with the monitoring of waste streams in manufacturing process including daily input into waste collection spreadsheets.

Compiles and analyzes statistical data as part of root cause analysis to determine cause and origin of waste.

Assists with the evaluation of equipment performance as it relates to utilization of equipment and materials.

Helps develop and implement projects designed to reduce waste of materials and/or time.

Conducts quality-related presentations during monthly Safety and Quality Huddles and New Hire Onboarding when requested.

High school diploma or equivalent required

6-12 months printing-related experience, in a book manufacturing setting

A Shift: Sun. - Tues.

Hours: 7am-7pm + every other Saturday 7am-7pm
