Job Description

About the Role

This role will be based in 240 Blackfriars, London. We are looking for a curious, driven, and proactive Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team and support the marketing efforts for Vitafoods Europe and Fi Europe, two of Informa's flagship events. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your marketing career while working on premier events.

Vitafoods Europe, now hosted in the vibrant city of Barcelona, is the leading global event for the nutraceutical sector, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to shape the future of health and nutrition. In addition to Vitafoods Europe, you will also contribute to the success of Fi Europe, the leading global food ingredients event, providing support as required and gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns for the Food portfolio, including email, print, and onsite promotion, with a focus on visitor promotion and customer conversion campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Executive to execute email campaigns for Vitafoods Europe, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Support the development of contra agreements with related Informa events to maximize audience reach and engagement.
  • Set up and manage advocacy tools Ingo and Feathr for both events. Developing assets and providing regular reporting to monitor performance and optimise campaigns.
  • Support the set up of the event platform and app for both events, ensuring that all assets are on brand and take responsibility for the associated email campaign.

Content Creation & Brand Management

  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand tone and messaging.
  • Work with designers to resize and distribute marketing collateral for campaigns and partnerships.
  • Maintain and update event websites in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse audience data to segment and target campaigns effectively, ensuring optimal engagement and conversion rates.
  • Assist in the creation of performance reports for senior management, providing insights into campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, including sales, operations, and content, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of marketing efforts.
  • Liaise with external media and event partners to deliver impactful campaigns that increase brand awareness and audience acquisition. This will involve negotiating barter agreement and management of all deliverables for both events.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Support the visitor promotion team with administrative tasks related to event marketing.

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Education: Degree-level education or equivalent in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of CRM platforms and systems, including data segmentation and integration with wider marketing campaigns.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or similar is desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Understanding of how to analyse campaign effectiveness and recreate successful multi-channel campaigns.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages and processes.
    • Advanced listening and questioning skills to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting ideas and reports to internal and external stakeholders
