As a Software Engineer in our CPaaS area, you'll be part of the team that powers Infobip's core messaging infrastructure—handling billions of interactions across the globe. You'll work on backend-heavy systems that are distributed across multiple data centers, with opportunities to contribute to frontend development as well. You'll join one of several dynamic teams, each solving unique challenges; from real-time spam aggregation and message scheduling to client-facing portals and internal configuration tools. Whether you're building scalable microservices or enhancing user interfaces, your work will directly impact how messages flow through Infobip's global platform.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin.
Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and React.
Build scalable, distributed systems that operate across multiple global data centers.
Collaborate with Product Development to define sprint goals and deliverables within a Scrum framework.
Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, and breakdown sessions.
Work closely with Staff Engineers and cross-functional teams to define technical direction and team goals.
Support internal monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability.
Engage in system design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
At least 3 years of experience working in similar software development roles.
Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficient in backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot or Kotlin.
Familiarity with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React.
Comfortable working in dynamic environments with flexible scopes and evolving priorities.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Experience with multithreaded systems and distributed architectures.
Familiarity with messaging and caching tools like RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka.
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Exposure to CI/CD tools and agile collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, Slack).
Willingness to adopt and propose new technologies.
Experience with .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud-native tools.
