About Electrification & Energy Solutions

Caterpillar's Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. What You Will Do

• Provide design concepting through virtual (design) and physical (builds)

• Leading development builds through the assembly facility and guiding the evolution of the technical design through technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.

• Monitoring, exploring, and testing new technologies, materials, and components to understand product or process improvement opportunities utilizing capabilities of different technical analyses.

• Advocating velocity in activity while maintaining a safety first mindset.

• Participating in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.

What You Will Have

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.

Product Design - Manufacturing: Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.

Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

Additional Information

This role will be located in Noblesville, IN. This role does offer relocation. This role does not offer sponsorship. This role will require 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range: $110,520.00 - $165,840.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
