This role will assist and be under the guidance of other engineering staff working on projects to meet various utility facility needs. This position may also require the successful candidate to evaluate, design, estimate, and provide project management to renewable electric generation facilities at various levels of complexity.
This position requires a current student of an ABET accredited, four-year engineering program. High importance is placed on the ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbal and written. High consideration is given to candidates with interpersonal skills which are effective in communication with internal and external customers. A quick learner with the willingness to remain flexible in various work assignments is desired. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Collecting and analyzing data and reviewing records, creating job order sketches using AutoCad, performing field measurements, and assembling data to create job order estimates are also required. Safety consciousness is required.
Availability for the entire duration of the Summer Internship May 11, 2025 - August 7, 2025. Current student of an accredited, four-year Engineering program. Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study. Ability to work 40 hrs/week. Proficiency with PC applications and prefer strong skills with AutoCad and MS Excel & Access. Proven communication skills. Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

$18.80 - $31.70. The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
