The Operations Analyst for the Division of Fish, Wildlife & Nature Preserves plays a critical role in ensuring the license system operates smoothly and continues to evolve to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts across the state. This position blends technical expertise with strategic oversight—analyzing business processes, managing system performance, and leading the development of new features that enhance the customer experience. From designing custom reports and troubleshooting data issues to coordinating with the license system vendor on system upgrades and database performance, the Operations Analyst works behind the scenes to keep the license system accurate, efficient, and responsive. The role also supervises staff, supports cross-divisional collaboration, and ensures that data-driven decisions align with the Division's mission and operational goals.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and leadership skills, proficiency in data management and SQL, and the ability to prioritize complex projects in a dynamic environment.
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
