Forklift Operator

Operate forklifts to transport materials safely, receive and inspect incoming shipments, unload trucks, and move inventory to designated areas. Prepare materials for packaging and shipping while maintaining accurate inventory records. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials safely.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.

Essential Skills:

• At least 1 year of forklift experience with recent operation within the last year.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator or material handler.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in material handling, picking, and using RF scanners.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Experience in packing, unloading, and shipping.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sellersburg, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
