Gynecology department, full-time days, St. Vincent AMG hospital, Carmel, IN. Responsibilities include working in a customer service capacity providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting, greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in and out, obtaining necessary documentation, verifying and entering demographic information, obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations, completing medical record release requests, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services daily, collecting co-payments, and reconciling all daily reports and deposits for accuracy. Providing general office and clerical support to assigned area.

Requirements include a high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
