The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) aims to improve residents' quality of life through bettering public spaces and infrastructure, and through providing excellent public services. Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field with three (3) years' experience in environmental field is required. Any combination of education and experience in environmental management or planning equal to seven (7) years is acceptable. Experience with, program management, contract management, policy development and public outreach is preferred. Effective oral and written communication is required. Ability to obtain 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification required. Preferred Job Requirements and Qualifications LPG preferred.
