Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking a senior Android engineer who will lead the design and development of significant mobile application features or projects. Responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and development of significant mobile application features or projects.
• Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and providing technical guidance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize software requirements.
• Participating in code reviews across teams to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Investigating and resolving complex technical issues and bottlenecks.
• Contributing to the improvement, scalability, and performance of development processes and software architecture.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to debug and improve products.
• Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, code comments, clear and efficient code.
• Continuously learning and adapting to modern technologies and development practices.

Required qualifications include:

• 6+ years of professional experience in native iOS and/or Android development.
• 1+ native iOS and/or Android published applications.
• Proficiency in native iOS and/or Android programming languages (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin).
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture and design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Experienced in working in a full stack environment.
• Excellent communication and technical influencing skills.

Work model: remote within the U.S.

Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary range: $100,000 – $117,000 annually.
