This role will support Indiana Department of Transportation's statewide Capital Program. This person will serve as a peer and leader to district and central office teammates, pursuing continuous improvement and removing barriers through communication and feedback sessions throughout the teams. This position serves as a senior level director with responsibility and accountability for driving agency wide excellence in project delivery including: develop and refine enterprise level processes and procedures, implementing portfolio management practices, metrics and continued development of INDOT's project management organization capability. This position will help implement standard reporting and dashboard tools to be utilized in statewide program transparency and decision making. Employee will serve as subject matter expert, providing direction and guidance to all departments involved in project delivery and/or project management to develop and sustain a strong project management culture. Prior experience and knowledge of INDOT's capital program is preferred.
Location: This position is located in INDOT's Central Office, Capital Program Management Division.
Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $93,002.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
