Responsibilities include working in a customer service capacity providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. Responsibilities include: greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in and out, and obtaining necessary documentation. Verifying and entering demographic information. Obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations/precertification. Completing medical record release requests and schedules/confirming patient appointments. Entering, reviewing and submitting charges for patient procedures and services daily. Collecting co-payments and reconciling all daily reports and deposits for accuracy. Providing general office and clerical support to assigned area.

Education: high school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Ability to type, customer service, and scheduling and front desk preferred.
