Mid-Level Android Engineer

We are seeking a mid-level Android engineer who will design, code, and test rich, interactive customer experiences. Responsibilities include leading coding efforts for specific modules or features, troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues, participating in code reviews and enforcing coding standards, and contributing to architectural decisions and design discussions.

Required qualifications include 4+ years of professional experience in native Android and/or iOS development, proficiency in native iOS programming languages (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin), strong understanding of mobile development methodologies and best practices, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, and excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Work model: remote within the U.S. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary range: $83,000 – $94,000 annually.

Compensation & benefits: This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
