We are seeking a proactive, technically-skilled Lead Project Manager to oversee and drive critical support processes within our healthcare IT environment. The ideal candidate will develop and refine processes to ensure that each new incident becomes an opportunity for system improvement, thereby reducing risk and enhancing service continuity.
Key responsibilities include overseeing critical support items on the VA project, managing issues that cannot be resolved through traditional support means, driving the project management lifecycle for issue resolution, managing deliverables throughout the support project, providing feedback to the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders, ensuring projects align with the goals and timelines outlined in the scope of work and schedule, communicating status updates to customer stakeholders and internal management, ensuring consistency and best practices are utilized, and utilizing knowledge of the Cerner Millennium platform or other EHR systems to execute basic troubleshooting and support.
Qualifications include a strong technical background in Cerner Millennium or equivalent EHR systems, proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare IT environments, ability to develop and refine processes for incident management and service improvement, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
