V2X is growing! We are looking for a 2026 Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team! Responsibilities include providing basic support developing and documenting mechanical designs, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies. Apply your engineering knowledge and participate as a member of a multi-discipline team. Contribute to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads. Follow established Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures.
This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.
Required skills include a positive attitude and proven leadership skills, customer focus and ability to collaborate, excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic fundamentals of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, and aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related coursework.
Desired skills include knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools, previous engineering project and/or internship experience, ability to work in a team environment, and a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired (please upload an unofficial transcript when applying).
Education requirements include being enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in Engineering (aeronautical, computer engineering, electrical, mechanical, software or systems), computer science or a closely related STEM field, and must have obtained sophomore, junior, senior or post graduate status as of Spring 2025.
