Ryder is hiring immediately for a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Clerk in Morris, IL. Positions pay weekly plus hourly at $22.82 per hour. Additional pay of $2.00 is provided when working the second shift. Overtime pay is $34.23 per hour. Schedule is Sunday - Wednesday; 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility key performance indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
