Direct Support Professional (Dsp)

Salary: $17 / Hour If you're someone who thrives on making a difference and knows how to bring calm, care, and confidence to any situation—this role is for you. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide essential support to students with special needs across classroom, one-on-one, and health clinic settings. You'll be part of a team that values compassion, flexibility, and a whole lot of heart.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students with personal care, behavioral needs, and basic health services
• Assisting in classrooms, health office clinics, and one-on-one settings
• Working under the supervision of the school nurse or clinical designee
• Floating between assignments with the potential to move into a full-time placement

The Details:

• $17/hour
• 35 hours/week
• Location: Rockford, IL
• Start: ASAP

What You'll Need:

• Current Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification as required by state/contract/client
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
