This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. Responsibilities include exercising supervisory personnel management, providing counsel to employees regarding policies and procedures, selecting or recommending candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment, planning and directing the activities of the Human Capital Development Branch, developing goals and objectives for employee development and training, researching, interpreting, analyzing, and applying statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing guidance on training and education programs.
Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS-13 level if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, which includes developing organization employee development and training goals, advising employees regarding policies, conducting studies to improve training programs, and providing strategic guidance on Human Resource Management.
Education substitution is not applicable for this grade level.
