As a member of CIBC's team, the Software Engineering Manager is a professional responsible for managing multiple development projects, development groups and application support functions for a major line of business. The role applies professional knowledge to oversee the development, testing and implementation of organization-wide systems, directing, motivating and developing staff to maximize their individual contribution and function effectively as a team. The Manager of Payments Technology is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, development, and support of payment technology solutions. This role will manage a team of engineers and analysts, ensuring the reliable delivery and integration of payment systems such as SWIFT, Wire, ACH, Instant Payments, and Zelle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payment processing technologies, API integrations, and vendor platforms, and will play a key role in supporting business objectives and technology initiatives.

This role has an expected salary range of $180,000.00 - $240,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
