Fellowes Mobile currently operates two days in office; Tuesdays and one other week day. A third day in office may be required due to deadlines and projects.
Role Summary
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the category expert, the marketing leader, and a business manager for the Fellowes Mobile division. You will drive the development and implementation of comprehensive, specific customer, brand, marketing, sales, category and product strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives for the Fellowes Mobile business. The Senior Marketing Manager will define long-term category strategic goals, build customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, oversee the development of marketing materials and maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competition. This position will serve as the business team cross-functional leader and will interact closely with Sales, Product Development, Industrial Design, Forecasting, Supply Chain, Finance, brand licensors, and external vendors.
In This Role, You Will
- Utilize marketplace, industry and consumer insights to develop and implement global category strategies that grow profit and volume including category direction, new product development recommendations, consumer/trade marketing needs, pricing and distribution strategies
- Be the global brand authority for all Fellowes Mobile brands ensuring that all marketing elements (packaging, marketing materials, merchandising, etc.) enhance, showcase and leverage the brand equity and product benefits for all brands in which we license or sell.
- Develop innovative promotions for new and existing product lines resulting in incremental volume for our customers than previous promotions and/or new revenue opportunities
- Ensure implementation, control and subsequent evaluation of the annual business plans and budget appropriations including the delivery of KPIs
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in all aspects of managing marketing, project and strategic initiatives. Ability to ascertain priorities and guide team to efficiently execute time-sensitive projects
- Demonstrate strong management skills in leading the marketing team ensuring the team is high-performing, is optimized to handle daily workload, and is set-up organizationally for success.
- Pull and analyze data to create compelling assortment, modular layout, pricing ladder, and add/delete recommendations for the customer to help drive their business and obtain placement for Fellowes Mobile
- Develop strategy and oversee execution of compelling and polished customer presentations for Line Reviews and other customer meetings/calls
- Lead and coordinate thoughtful and comprehensive response to adhoc customer requests for analysis, performance data, product recommendations/information, etc.
- Effectively lead and manage the marketing and graphic design teams to execute key deliverables on time and with high quality.
- Partner heavily with Sales, PD, and FM leadership to activate, drive and execute numerous projects and initiatives based on consistently changing priorities
- Understand key business and financial drivers, and leverage this information for effective decision making
- Identify, initiate and execute change management
