Field Service Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to support a leading telecommunications client in delivering reliable communications across various DoD sites. This hands-on role is essential to the design, execution, and support of technical upgrades, system migrations, and integrations that meet mission-critical communication needs. The engineer will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and possesses strong technical expertise in IT systems, communication networks, and network security- particularly within Linux and Windows environments. Familiarity with DoD frameworks is highly preferred. This position requires extensive travel (minimum 75%) to both CONUS and OCONUS locations to stage, configure, and deploy routers and switches. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in secure network operations, IT, or military relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of IT systems including Windows and UNIX platforms
• Experience in troubleshooting IP networks and IT systems, including imaging and staging client computers.
• Active Security+ Certification
• Ability to solve problems under pressure in high-stakes environments.
• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to travel minimum 75% of the time to various CONUS/OCONUS sites
• Proficiency in MS VISO and MS Office Suite
• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
• Experience with radio, telecommunications or RF environments/ products
• Familiar with ASTRO system or product line
