Seasonal Guest Services Leader
Maggie Daley Park is looking for energetic, guest-focused individuals to join our team as Seasonal Guest Services Leaders for the winter skating season. This part-time role is essential in delivering a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for all visitors to the park’s iconic ice-skating ribbon. The ideal candidate is a confident skater with strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for hospitality and public engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest questions, concerns, and escalated issues.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and positive environment for all guests and team members.
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, injuries, or guest concerns, maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor.
- Monitor guest traffic flow, signage, and access points to ensure safety and efficiency across rink operations.
- Lead, support, and supervise seasonal Guest Services staff throughout scheduled shifts.
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support for new and returning staff.
- Assist with scheduling, team check-ins, and daily task assignments.
- Promote strong team communication, accountability, and a high standard of customer service.
- Support the daily operations of skate rentals, ticketing, and overall guest logistics.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across rental areas, service counters, and warming zones.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of operational supplies.
- Report facility or equipment issues to the Operations Manager promptly.
- Help coordinate and execute special events, group bookings, and themed skating nights.
- Lead event setup, guest coordination, and post-event breakdown alongside staff.
- Complete other job responsibility and duties as assigned.
Schedule Requirements:
This is a seasonal, part-time position requiring availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is critical, especially during peak operating times and special events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally in guest services or recreation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay composed and professional in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
- Commitment to creating a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for all guests.
- Ability to work in the cold and warm weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent walking, standing, and occasional sitting for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds regularly.
- May need to assist guests physically in the event of a fall or emergency.

Compensation: $24.00/hour
