We are seeking a dedicated Sales Support Representative to provide entry to mid-level Federal contract administrative support. This role assists the Federal Program Manager in ensuring compliance and minimizing risk across multiple contracts. Responsibilities include familiarizing yourself with Federal organizations and agencies, adding products to various contracts for government agencies, responding promptly to email requests from internal and external customers, delivering accurate and complete contract deliverables on time, monitoring contract email boxes for product additions, deletions, or price changes, managing and maintaining contract routers, releasing or rejecting orders as instructed, identifying issues or concerns requiring escalation or resolution, understanding Government Procurement forms and processes, such as Purchase Orders and Delivery Orders, collecting data for reporting purposes, forwarding opportunities to the Sales Team, researching and qualifying IT products for contract addition, providing backup support to team members, ensuring product compliance with federal contracts, assisting in uploading documents and data into a new database, maintaining databases and spreadsheets, and performing various administrative and clerical duties.
Essential Skills include a Bachelor's Degree or five years of office experience, three years of contracts experience, proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access. Additional Skills & Qualifications include awareness of issues requiring escalation or resolution, knowledge of Government Procurement forms and processes, experience with Vlookups, pivot tables, and advanced functions, MS Access and MS Teams experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and customer service skills, ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, strong organizational skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, and being a self-starter and organized.
The position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Standard Time zone. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Training will be provided by the current Contract Administrator. You will manage requests from inside sales managers, enter data into spreadsheets and applications, and update databases for account managers.
This is a Contract position based out of Lincolnshire, Illinois. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
