You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher to have the highest level of product knowledge to provide customers with recommendations on their favorite dish or protein. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, replenish low stock items, pick and pack online orders and deliver a friendly check-out experience. Essential tasks and responsibilities include: being a brand ambassador, becoming a product and culinary expert, providing a butcher friendly shopping experience, assisting customers during the check-out process, performing stocking duties such as lifting up to 50lb, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning store, overseeing daily price changes and managing cash register as required, processing customer e-commerce orders, overseeing timely product hand out for deliveries, working in an extremely cold environment, and performing other related duties. Physical demands include being able to exert up to 50 pounds of force, occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, standing/walking for up to 8-10 hours, and frequent movement within the store.

Qualifications include a high school degree or GED preferred not required, one year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required, excellent verbal communication skills, work with integrity as a team toward a shared vision, be determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization, treat it like you own it- take ownership and responsibility to be successful, acts with respect and values other opinions, strong cognitive skills, including problem analyzing, enthusiasm and passion for food and customer service, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, show dependability and commitment, fundamental math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and the availability to work a flex schedule, working various hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings and, weekends/holidays.
