CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this exempt position is $84k to $108.5k. The Quality Engineer (QE) is a representative of the Quality Department of Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) and as such they support the Quality Assurance Manager with all aspects related to Customer Requirements, examination of product and preparation of detailed acceptance data packages that may include: Test witnessing, Quality Assurance Records per governing documents, and supporting compliance with customer specifications, internal quality system, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws. As a Quality Engineer (QE), you will be responsible of performing and preparing documentation for all internal and external audits, as well as executing internal Quality Management System audits. The QE is responsible for all activities related to DCMA, ECOs, Project/Program Books, and other delegated activities as needed. The QE is responsible to facilitate, drive and guide Problem Solving, Corrective Actions, Continual Improvement and Customer point of contact for Quality related topics.
