Develop roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing processes to support new product initiatives, including evaluating and selecting appropriate materials. Advance manufacturing capabilities to sustain a competitive edge in the market. Provide technical support for current manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, process optimization, and system upgrades. Assess and recommend new equipment acquisitions to improve production efficiency. Conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and document any quality-related issues within manufacturing. Work closely with technicians and operators to ensure proper equipment setup, and deliver clear instructions and training as needed. Lead process validation and equipment qualification efforts to ensure compliance and performance. Collect and analyze production data to evaluate yield and identify areas for improvement. Support prototyping and experimental trials, while interpreting critical process data. Adhere to and contribute to Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S management systems by following established policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications
•BA in Engineering
•Strong mechanical aptitude to pinpoint machine failures and improvement opportunities.
•Ability to read technical prints / drawings.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills with the intent to explain processes, propose changes, or establish technical requirements.
•Basic CAD skills.
•Growth mindset to challenge status quo and find new paths.
•Experience with data analysis tools.
•Experience performing RCAs, FMEAs, etc.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Health, vision, dental, 401K.
