Process Engineer

Exciting project for 6 months working to create robust standard operating procedures / work instructions for manufacturing! Candidates must have experience creating SOPs, the ability to read/interpret low voltage electrical diagrams/schematics and computer proficiency with MS Office, an SOP system and tablet. MUST HAVE: + Experience creating robust SOPs/Work instructions + Ability to read electrical schematics + Computer proficiency + NO DEGREE REQUIRED. Any advanced education, continuous improvement or relevant formal training is a PLUS.

Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing clear and comprehensive work instructions for various electrical systems and processes. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, detailed work instructions for electrical rough-in and panel installation, electrical conduit routing and circuit pulling, and final testing procedures.
  • Capture processes using technology, including annotated photos taken via tablet and step-by-step documentation based on mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and usability of instructions.
  • Support the development of future carpentry instructions, including both rough and finish carpentry.
  • Interpret and document processes involving 3-phase and 4-phase power systems, low-voltage systems (e.g., 12V relay base), standard 120V panels, and data/communication systems.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $53.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
