Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and design the workflow process within the steelmaking department.
• Develop and assist in the installation of new and improved process improvements throughout the steelmaking process.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Diagnose failures, determine solutions, and make suggestions for improvement.
• Create reports with cost and time estimates for each project.
• Ensure process stability and consistency by developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and quality, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment:

The role is set in a very heavy manufacturing environment, with both office and plant responsibilities. The position requires mobility throughout the entire plant and multiple mills.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
