The Operations Support Specialist will provide assistance in various operations functions such as purchasing, receiving, shipping, dispatching, strategic sourcing, and inventory management. This well-rounded associate will also provide customer support when needed and help internally administer HR benefits and new employee orientation/training. A successful individual will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and efficiency. This position requires a highly motivated team player with high energy who is willing to go above and beyond while displaying a positive, optimistic, and upbeat outlook.
Purchasing/Receiver: reconcile and confirm receipt of product; match receipts with POs and approve for payment; run compliance reports for purchasing (invoice/PO hold reports); work with AP to ensure payments are correct and on time.
Accounts Payable: review and pay certain in-house bills; create expense POs for everything purchased using the P-Card.
Inventory Control: run reports to help monitor inventory status and identify short and long term requirements; work with manager to generate PO\'s; maintain Min/Max levels of components with quantities while considering variable lead times.
Oracle: must be proficient in Oracle for all ISC, Dispatcher, Purchasing, Payables, and Receiving responsibilities.
SOX Compliance: conduct Cycle Counts as required in accordance with SOX controls and ensure Delegation of Authority is maintained.
Strategic Sourcing: work with manager and sourcing team to create savings through vendor terms and pricing.
Dispatching: responsible for picking and dispatching orders, which includes all shipping, tracking information, and costs.
Shipping Coordination: Prepare UPS, Fed-Ex, and other LTL shipments by creating the BOLS and UPS labels; help coordinate LTL freight; reroute freight when necessary for customers/distributors if an address change is required.
RMA Resolution: Partner with the sales and customer service teams to help resolve RMAs for customers and coordinate/document the return.
Training: will be responsible for training a dedicated employee to take over shipping duties once infrastructure is in place.
