Your Role: Operations Specialist I

As an Operations Specialist I, you’ll take ownership of creating, maintaining, and publishing essential insurance documentation within our intranet-based repository. You’ll ensure timely and accurate distribution of business processes, forms, and rating information, while crafting clear and effective internal regulatory communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain Everest’s centralized repository for insurance forms, rate plans, processes, training materials, and communications.
  • Index and tag documentation using best practices to ensure easy access and organization.
  • Analyze document metadata to spot discrepancies and collaborate with Operations and Underwriting teams to resolve them.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the repository, partnering with Business Architecture, Product, IT, and Operations to support system enhancements.
  • Review regulatory circulars and bulletins from rating bureaus, state insurance departments, and other agencies.
  • Develop internal communications to announce regulatory rate, rule, and form changes.
  • Create operational communications for system updates, outages, and process changes.
  • Follow Everest’s brand standards and communication templates to maintain consistency and clarity.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis within insurance operations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance products and systems.
  • Proven ability to develop regulatory communications.
  • Familiarity with rate, rule, and form filings.
  • Knowledge of ISO (Insurance Services Office) and NCCI.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to balance short- and long-term goals.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $95,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
