Field Services Technician

TEKsystems is seeking a qualified Field Services Technician to join our team in support of our customer's manufacturing facility. Job duties include resolving plant floor system and hardware issues to keep the plant floor operational, ensuring proper documentation and escalation for all incidents, performing data and configuration changes in relation to support, following incident response process and procedures, printer/hardware replacements, SQL queries, and fixing data and transaction issues.

Skills required include troubleshooting skills, knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, PLC Live Data Tags, log monitoring, basic scripting, and execution. Experience with Windows/Linux OS support and configuration, basic knowledge of containers, Kubernetes/Docker or other similar technologies, experience resolving simple to moderately complex issues through root cause analysis, excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, a self-starter with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and 1+ years of experience with Manufacturing IT Systems (nice to have).

Pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
