Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor performance of process parameters to identify non-conforming products, low yields, or quality issues.
• Interface with Quality and Engineering Departments to resolve manufacturing production issues.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to improve equipment uptime and component longevity through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Continuous Improvement (CI), and Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities.
• Develop technical training and documentation for manufacturing new and existing products.
• Plan, specify, select, validate, and implement new equipment, processes, and facilities in manufacturing.
• Assist in maintaining ISO Quality Standards plant-wide.
• Engage in the identification and resolution of corrective/preventative actions to address safety, quality, technical, and manufacturing issues.

Essential Skills:

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with IQMS or similar ERP software.
• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Experience evaluating, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Proficiency in using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, or related software.
• Knowledge of ISO13485:2016 and FDA 21 CFR part 820 (CGMP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Six Sigma and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience in medical device manufacturing, particularly with ISO standards and injection molding.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Full benefits with client and PTO.

This is a fully onsite position in Cary, IL.
