Inside Sales Specialist

The Inside Sales Specialist leverages a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a penchant for sales to engage existing customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions. Responsibilities include managing a large portfolio of existing and new customers' accounts covering a full sales cycle from lead qualifications to working on engineering design proposals. The role also involves working with targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncovering and creating opportunities to drive growth of the sales funnel; relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Close collaboration with design engineers, mechanical engineers, buyers, or other engineering and technical personnel at companies defined by marketing campaign is required. The specialist makes phone and online sales presentations to prospective customers, communicating a complete understanding of the products available from MISUMI. They prospect, educate, and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities and partner with sales and marketing leaders to develop a targeted account strategy. Keeping abreast of the company's products, industry, and relevant technologies is essential to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers. Learning and following our Customer Relationship Management processes and using Microsoft Dynamics to document interactions with prospects is also required. Other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager are expected.

Requirements include a B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications, desirable. Minimum 3 years of B2B Industrial sales experience with manufacturing-related products and services within the manufacturing industry are desirable. A self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic phone personality is required. Familiarity with a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures is key. Good communications at all levels with excellent consultative selling skills are necessary. Experience in outbound calling is required, along with a working knowledge of contact resource management systems and MS Dynamics specifically. A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they would apply to real-world projects is desirable. Technical aptitude is a plus.

Pay Rate: $50 - $60K plus incentive. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
