Inside Sales Representative (ISR)

Amex GBT is looking for a highly motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our team. A successful candidate will be a quick learner with a passion for sales and customer service. This role is a critical part of the sales process, working closely with Amex GBT's sales and marketing teams to identify, qualify, and nurture leads into opportunities. You have the ability to think critically and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

What You'll Do:

• Identify, qualify, and nurture leads into opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with sales and marketing teams.
• Educate potential customers on Amex GBT's services and offerings.
• Track customer interactions and update records in CRM software.
• Utilize modern sales tools and techniques to optimize sales process.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Amex GBT's products and services.
• Monitor customer trends and develop strategies to increase customer engagement.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and complaints.
• Generate new leads and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline to maximize sales performance.
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer service
• Experience in the travel industry is a plus
• Familiarity with sales and marketing operations and processes
• Proficiency in modern sales tools (CRM, lead generation software, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
• It would be a plus if you have some experience selling to law firms or in the financial sectors
• Candidates based in the Chicago area will have some in-office expectations.

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

The US national base salary range for this position is from $60,200 to $111,800. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a sales incentive plan based on specific sales roles, or for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
